plancha devient rapide et simple et nécessite très peu de préparation. La plaque de cuisson atteint 300°C en quelques minutes seulement grâce à la résistance des brûleurs. La cuisson à la plancha, alimentée au gaz, n’implique pas de contact direct avec la flamme contrairement au barbecue. Les aliments sont cuits « à la saisie », conservant ainsi tous leurs arômes et leurs minéraux. Les matières grasses, issues de la cuisson, sont, elles, évacuées dans le bac récupérateur de graisses situé à l’arrière de la plancha. La plancha permet une cuisson sans contact avec les flammes et sans ajout de matière grasse ce qui offre la possibilité de cuisiner léger et diététique, apportant ainsi tous les bienfaits d’une cuisine saine.
